This doctoral program trains students who are excellent in both language research and professional language education. Many of the graduates go on to pursue careers in teaching Japanese or English at the same time as conducting theoretical or applied research on language, so the master's program offers a variety of courses related to Japanese and English education. We have created a curriculum that allows students to take the following subjects. We also actively accept international students who wish to conduct advanced comparative research between Japanese as their second language, and their mother tongue as their first language, or who wish to play a leading role in Japanese language education in their home countries after completing their studies. |
