Can Japan Create a Basis for its Internationality? Questioning the Capacity for Political Vision

ABSTRACT

In Japan, debate on the Constitution, Article 9 in particular, is becoming louder these days. However, there is no serious attempt to build a new regional framework for prosperity and stability of Asia. My presentation will consider what is required in Japanese politics if Japan is to take a more active role in the formation of a peaceful Asia.
