Signing Ceremony of Lille Catholic University and Nanzan University Mutual Cooperation Agreement

2010.03.15

On 11 March 2010, Nanzan University and the Lille Catholic University of France held a signing ceremony to conclude a mutual cooperation agreement.

Lille Catholic University is the largest private university in France, a country that places great emphasis on international education. It has concluded exchange agreements with 350 universities, accepting 1,500 foreign students every year from 92 different countries.

At Nanzan University, established by the Catholic order, the Society of the Divine Word, we have indicated our intention through our President’s Policy Paper to “strengthen links with the Catholic universities of the world,” and so with this in mind, a mutual cooperation agreement has been concluded between our two universities. It is hoped that active exchange will occur between the universities in future, including the mutual dispatch of students.
