Graduate Program in Policy Studies

Whereas modern science understands subjects from a purely analytical perspective, students in the Graduate Program in Policy Studies learn to integrate fragmented knowledge. By doing so, students learn to identify problems faced by our increasingly complicated modern society, and find solutions. Based on such a philosophy, the aim of the Graduate Program in Policy Studies is to deepen class content while developing practical policy-making skills.

Characteristics

Based on research methods and objectives, while establishing the two target domains of international and public policy, global and regional environmental issues are also researched. Specific methods of research include research on documents and literature, as well as lectures in each area presented by practicing administrators, allowing students the opportunity to learn about the actual conditions of policies in practice.

The Doctoral Course is also in the stage of conception as we consider the cultivation of students completing our Master’s course and continuing on to become specialized professionals and researchers, engaging in the professions of even more advanced administration.
